Way I see it is exactly that. He needs to prove himself otherwise his career is in the toilet. We're not relying on him to be a starter, in fact he'll be away from teh squad to begin with so he'll have to really knuckle down and put the effort in.

Ball is in his court to really stand up and be counted. If he comes out on top, then we've done well to get a decent player with the right attitude. If his attitude is shit, like many people think it will, then ... he won't be coming near the first team.
