Why was he driving? Shouldn't he have been swimming up stream?

According to a report by the St George Shire Standard, Salmon was also fined $1500 and disqualified from driving for six months when he fronted Sutherland Local Court on Thursday.

The 20-year-old told police he was checking his phone when his Jeep Cherokee crossed onto the wrong side of the road, hit three parked cars before flipping onto its roof stopping traffic in Miranda in Sydney’s south on the morning of October 13. Salmon had been out clubbing in Cronulla and arrived on home at 3am, slept for six hours before waking at 9am to get breakfast and then buy a suit from Westfield Miranda when the crash occurred. The young Eel, a green P-plater, was taken to hospital following the accident with head injuries and returned a blood alcohol reading of 0.068.

Salmon’s solicitor Warwick Korn said his client was “very scared and contrite” and that the incident “has moved him to publicly and sincerely apologise to the court and the local community.”

The Eels are yet to issue a statement following the court case.

Yes, others could possibly take a leaf out of his book. Attended court in a moon boot....was that injury from the crash?

Another one who did not understand that just because you stopped drinking some time before getting in a car does not mean you don't still have alcohol in the bloodstream. As a P plate driver he should have been zero in any case....
