Fair point.

From all I've heard of his coaching style. He typically just simplifies the roles of players. Do this simple job while the player beside you does theirs and everything just works.

But I think that Bennett has hardly ever had a roster that wasn't stacked in the right places. Even during his premiership at St Merge he had a pretty good pack and backline. Soward was basically a good general play kicker and Bennett based their entire game around a very boring style with last tackle kicks leading to a lot of scoring opportunities.

The only role he took up without a strong roster was with Newcastle and he ran from that role before his reputation suffered.

He is a good man manager, he can manage the egos and loose units in the dressing room. Signing troubled or out of form players has never bothered him. Jimmy the jet, Liam Knight, Bloke of cheese, Darius, Fifita, Willie Mason, Wendell Sailor, Gasnier

He has a contract at Souths doesn't he? If so that's why he dropped it

apparently so. They should be covering any legal costs to the Dogs since the whole case was based around the fact that he was claiming he would never play again ..or something

No way uncle Wayne is giving him a top 30 spot
Not a chance in the world. They already have a lazy cûnt stinking up their culture.
Remember when everyone was saying “Bennett will re-build Schuster”
How many games did he play?
Jackson won’t even survive the walk in from the parking lot.

Over the 6-week holiday break, we had painter Adam Hartinger @mistarr_m create an incredible piece of artwork in our common room.

You may not know that East Hills has been the school of some great Australian sporting legends, and our freshly renovated space was the perfect place to pay tribute to that legacy.
