Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs captain Josh Jackson is facing a suspension following a review of Saturday's match with the Brisbane Broncos.
Jackson is facing a two-week ban after being charged over a grade one crusher tackle on Alex Glenn in the 28th minute during his side's 24-0 loss to Brisbane.

He can reduce the suspensions by a week if he enters an early guilty plea.

Bulldogs forward Renouf Antoni was also charged, but his dangerous contact charge will only result in a fine.

We will see if Jacko's absence will have an impact. Can't remember the last time he didn't play.....

Gotta say that is a weak charge, Glenn was backing into him, and even though this got the tackler into a bad position you can see that Jackson tries to avoid a crusher situation. Glenn milked it for the penalty, and went on to play the entire match.

Anyone can see that this is what happened, everyone knows that this isn't the way Jacko plays the game. The NRL is screwing itself with this stuff, as it encourages more milking, we are going to end up with more divers than they have in soccer.

Sad to say, he will not be missed.
Why won’t he be missed, they scored there first three try’s when he was off the field. And he was only off the the field for 10 minutes. His attack might be shit but he does all the defending in the middle.

So did Tolman.

Jackson is not the player he once was. He tries, but lacks the leadership and smarts of a rep player with years of experience.
It's up to him to carry on the coach's role on the field, and pull into line players not doing their job- he just goes into his shell.

The whole crusher tackle has become a farce
All a player needs to do to receive a penalty is hold the back of their neck ffs.
