Haha .. only round 2!!!!

We’ve been thrashed twice (convincingly)
You can’t push shit up hill BUt that’s what it looks like we are trying to do.. round 2 or not! it’s very worrying so early in and that’s the problem!!

We are already scraping the bottom of the barrel, and if the only way is up then it’s a bloody long way.

BULLDOGS ARE A PROUD CLUB.!!! (or were) Enough is enough, we want some answers, we need to hear the plan of action and how the board etc is gong to save this once staunch no nonsense club. It’s weak !! Weaker than I’ve ever seen it!!!

It's pretty simple, you already have the answers to your questions;
The team for the first couple of rounds was picked on form, attitude and pre season training plus performance in the opposed session and trail game.
After a couple of games players will be relegated and promoted to/from the lower grades based on their form to date.
We have somewhere around $3/4m to spend this year under the cap. We won't reveal how much because that would jeopardise current negotiations with unscrupulous agents and other clubs.
We have around $2m additional available under the salary cap for next season. We won't reveal how much because that would jeopardise current negotiations with unscrupulous agents and other clubs
For 2021 we have a further ~$3m available under the salary cap for next season. We won't reveal how much because that would jeopardise future negotiations with unscrupulous agents and other clubs.

All of this is known, published and/or revealed at the AGM, what more do you want to know?

The worrying thing for me is that it literally took Eels and Warriors a 15-20 min span to pile on the points. We are good in patches, but for some reason the first 2 games of this season we have a massive mental lapse in game, usually right before and after half time, at which point the opposing team puts us away. Very concerning, dont know if this is because of fitness, crap game management, shit interchange management by Pay or a combination of all.

Warriors and Eels are below par. When we come up against a team like Souths or Broncos they'll literally put 40 on us by half time.

We need a "it's only (insert round number)" megathread, which gets updated each week.

That’s exactly what this board is trying to achieve. There was no secret we were going to have a lean year this year. They are building up a war chest to go on a spending spree in the years to come. If it means getting the spoon this year to finish top four next year then I can handle that. The board’s main aim was to develop juniors and start freeing up the cap for a genuine rebuild to return to be a force like we once were. It doesn’t happen overnight. We need patience!

Only problem though is do we still have the smarts to attract the right stock? I'm talking about Rep Ready, proven 1st graders that can hit the ground running? I don't like our chances but will be happy to be proven wrong.

OP is right, everything is fine guys.

Next week we will win by 40 points plus guaranteed.

Hopoate will outsprint Jennings who has a 20 meter head start
Montoya will make 3 awesome defensive reads
Tolman will join the 300 meter club
