Watching that second half yesterday made me a believer.
Whilst there are many holes in this roster there's only one that needs to be filled.
Watching b-moz at the back, gave me wood.
Frawley at half, mbye at hooker is plenty good enough, with a potent fb.
B-moz might be able to survive this season at fb (though I doubt it) but he's not a long term solution.
With a spine of tedesco, frawley, Reynolds and mbye, we'd be very strong for quite a few years to come.

If bmoz body could handle it, There's no way in hell I'd want tedesco over him.

I get it bmoz can't pass but all the other things he brings to the team, both defence and attack, the guy would surely be up there for top fullback in the comp on pure ability

I just commented the same thing elsewhere.
Tedesco is the x-factor and icing on the cake we need.
We are making more breaks but with hardly anyone backing up.
He does that so well and it would allow BMoz to play his specialist postion.
If Holland is left out who kicks goals though?
Mbye could practice but if he's playing hooker he'll be too rooted to kick them

Absolutely we need xfactor, in which shape or form it comes I don't really care TBH. But we really need xfactor ..

If we had Teddy there with the current spine it'd be perfect. But I highly doubt we'll afford Teddy and keep Reynolds.

It's not just about the next few years though Bmoz has 1 year left on his contract and wouldn't have that long left in his career. We need to look forward and Tedesco is a great long term option.

Frawley is our X factor. His calm under pressure, and tactical kicking, has put the team on another level.
Frawley is a great player and what we desperately needed, but xfactor he is not.. there's only a hand full of players that can lay claim to xfactor, e.g. G.I, slater, sbw, barba, tedesco, Valentine Holmes, latrel Mitchel.. these are xfactor type players

GI isn't an x factor anymore, unless his x factor is "having no knee cartilage".

Barba, Johnson, Ponga I'd rate as x factors... maybe even peachey.

Players that can break a game wide open.

For us it would be Reynolds with a good #7.

.......

I wonder if we even need Tedesco. For me Abbey is the answer but is rough around the edges. He just needs time to hone his craft.

Tedesco has had as many injuries as BMoz, and only played one full season.

Abbey is so far off it isn't even funny. No way would i be waiting on him to come good.

The cap is going up & we won't re-sign Lichaa, Hoppa & a few lower players.
I can't see why not

Who else is off contract for us?

Yeah his showing in first grade was a bit disappointing. I mean... he does have good attributes to be a decent fullback one day (ball playing ability, grubber, pass, decent pace) but his development seems to be behind where he should be at his age. Late bloomer maybe but if he wants to be a fullback in first grade he better be putting in extras at training.

I am not sure, but Tedeseco has had his own injury issues, not sure if he has played one complete season without getting injured and sitting out games.

I just feel like he is going to break every tackle lol.
