So just reading some articles on Al-Jazeera. The US are sending troops for what reason, I think we all know.
Lebanon is almost bankrupt. Israel has tried and failed to invade Lebanon for centuries.
So they force the southern population into Beirut, they hit the towns with some of the worlds oldest monuments, they hit civilian buildings saying that hezbollah is storing weapons there.
AND, we all know none of this CAN happen unless the US give them permission to do so.
They don’t want to rule Lebanon or Gaza, nor do they want their own occupying it (albeit they will turn on their own once theyve Slaughtered everyone) they need the land for something.

It’s a terrible situation, and the future looks increasingly scary. Unfortunately Lebanon has been all over the place in terms of politics and economics for quite some time and corruption has played a role too. Happy to see solidarity and compassion from those in the North caring for those displaced in the south. As someone who’s had family directly in war and killed I never advocate it but pray for peace in the Middle East.
