I’ll clarify something because I speak about England a lot lately.
I looked into the history of English league and if you ever have the time it’s a fascinating story. Goes back to ww2. The South tried to ban it. They are still trying to kill it. The game survives due to old family connections from 100 years ago as it’s not broadcast like Australia. I feel like they are the ultimate underdog. And they produce fearless workhorses. All from towns on one random highway. I admit I’m fascinated by English league and it’s the only sport in England I care about. I lol when they get ass raped in soccer or cricket or union or swimming medal tally
