@Freakzilla Do you think Tino is the best option at 13 for Australia?

Right now he's been outplaying Radley, Murray and Yeo and we'd need his aggression to match the other pack.

No wrong answer though out of the 4.

Think Crichton is playing like a reserve grader at this point but otherwise a great team

state of orgin is over, its already lost what it was meant to be
state of your origin, place of birth, the rot started years ago and has degenerated ever since

It's a good concept, maybe something similar to the exiles game they play in England.

But for a lot of footy fans including myself, the league year ends with the gf. I just can't see effectively an all stars clash after the gf attracting a huge amount of interest.

These ideas would kill the game... it’s simple as long as you meet the criteria which Jt does allow them to play.. it won’t kill the game it would only allow the best of the best play and then allow Other nations to compete against Australia.

people seem to forget
Brad thorn became an all black considers himself a kiwi and a Queenslander
Tony carroll
Adrian lam played for png
James tamou

have all played origin and you wouldn’t say it hurt the game...
Only thing the rules of not allowing them to vs Australia at international arena has hindered the international game only.

Why do a rest of the world team? Then you don't get the patriotic support of the other teams, the tears at the national anthem, the cultural performances etc. I would rather see some of the Samoan boys stack the Toa team and then you will see a crowd atmosphere to challenge to the Tongan team. End of the day, Australia brings great players but no atmosphere to the international arena. Unfortunately NZ league is similar

As far as international Rugby League goes, it's not something that I see ever hitting the height of Rugby. State of Origin easily is better than the Australian Conference in Super Rugby, but at international level, you have much more interest from European teams (Italy, France, England, Ireland etc...) and even Southern Hemisphere teams (South Africa, NZ, Argentina) - and that's a height that Rugby League will never reach.

I will say this though - I loved the Rugby League World Sevens back in 2004. We saw an abundance of talented youngsters on display, and we also saw players who were playing for their nation over their club (Robbie Farah for instanced played for Lebanon instead of Wests Tigers).

Forget this whole concept of heritage players and just play where you were born.

I think the days of the unbeatable Australian team are gone. Australia could not compete with that pack or that bench. I would be very confident in a bet. Would be a 90% Samoan crowd too cause Kangaroo fans don't rock up
