The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs have returned from the NRL Nines with no injury concerns.

With all 18 players coming through in good health, the Bulldogs will now turn their focus to this week’s trial against the Cronulla Sharks in Papua New Guinea.

With only three weeks until the opening round of the season, the Bulldogs currently have eight players in the injured group.

Captain Josh Jackson has started non-contact skills as he continues to recover from a fractured nose and will aim to be ready for the club’s final trial against the Canberra Raiders.

Back rower Raymond Faitala-Mariner is progressing well after suffering an ankle syndesmosis injury. The forward has started running on the club’s Alter G and will commence his on field running program at the back end of this week.

Jeremy Marshall-King has started non-contact skills with the team and will be phased into the main group over the next 2-3 weeks.

Local junior Marcelo Montoya is continuing his recovery from a serious knee injury. The Fijian international’s running program continues to build. He is currently doing non-contact skills and will be phased into the main squad over the next two weeks.

Kieran Foran is progressing well with his shoulder and will see the surgeon in six weeks for a clearance to advance his rehab program as he continues to recover from two shoulder operations.

Sauaso Sue is doing well and is involved in full contact as well as skills with the team. A return to play date is still to be determined by the club’s High-Performance staff.

Back rower Adam Elliott will miss the NRL All Stars match and the club’s trial with the Sharks after picking up a minor ankle injury during training. He will be ready for next week’s match with the Raiders.

Outside back Christian Crichton aggravated an old knee injury during training and will miss this weekend’s matches. He will be assessed next week to determine if he is fit and ready to play in the club’s final trial before the 2020 season kicks-off.

Probably won't be fit to start the season imo, missed a fair chunk of preseason.

Surprised JMK has had such a lengthy recovery process though good to hear RFM is going better than first thought.. I reckon he should be sweet by rnd 2 or 3.

JMK is actually the most improved player in our squad and I look forward to his return.
