Didn’t play trials as him and woods needed more running and more work to make them more durable during the season.

Woolford must have copped a pathologic fracture when the cyst was removed. That's the only way he could be out for 2-3 months.

They said it was a cyst in his mandible so i assume its similar to a badly broken jaw.

Yeah apparently depending on the cyst as the size, if can fracture the jaw if it weakens it during removal.

That would make sense with those saying a broken jaw.

Broken jaw is still a 6 week injury. He’s had his op a week ago and is still 2-3 months away? Maybe an infection? Who knows but it sounds pretty fucked up and rare given the long window of return
