Knew Mr Coleman as the principal at Narwee Public schoolA Cagney locomotive from the USA. Cagney exported these all over the world.
The Coleman family of Earlwood started making their own amusement park trains. People would remember them at the Royal Easter Show, Coogee beach, and at various fairs around Sydney.
The Cagneys were real steam locomotives; Coleman's had auto engines, so were fake steam locos.
How many remember the train at Taronga Zoo?
Apparently, the world's first skyscraper.
