If you were picking the Australian team who would be the Halfback & Hooker?

For the first time in a long time the Australian halfback & hooker positions are completely up for grabs. Who would you select?

Grant has to be in the 14 jersey for mine. Cook keeps his spot at 9

I'd have Grant or Koroisau before Cook. Cook is a handy player by offers not much creativity. The kid is quick but Koroisau and Grant can ball play, pick numbers and read the play better

I'd still go with Cleary and Cook. I think Cleary and Grant are the future tho. If you judge Cleary and DCE over the whole year it isn't even close imo.

Cleary and Cook weren't NSW's issue.

Our poor edge combos, players out of position, key players injured or not picked and poor coaching is what fucked us up.

DCE did a serviceable job without doing anything spectacular or awful. Have a look at how useless he was for the most part without Munster there in Game 2.
