Idea - Thumbs

So I had this idea to replace the typical "thumbs up" symbol with:

I realise functionality is limited to the vBulletin template. How can you feedback on that to the designers?

The solution for thumbs (and they are worth keeping if not abused) is to have the ability to remove all thumbs from a particular user. Then people can complain if thumb abused, and we check it out, remove the thumbs, and infract the abuser.

Another useful thing would be limiting number of thumbs you can give per hour or whatever period. That way you cant go too nuts. Also would slow down people starting dupe accounts to thumbs up themselves to unbelievable levels.

It would actually help me directly. I have about 95 thumbs down from 1 banned user (all in 1 night), who didnt love me.

I don't mind the thumbs thing in general. And if someone disagrees with me and gives me a thumbs down, fair enough.

It was just today I was given 2 thumbs down in some form of 'revenge'. And those thumbs down were in 2 threads I commented in in mid-2014.

I have no idea what kind of search he/she used to find those very random posts.

Because I generally only use the app I forget about thumbs (bit like post counts, I logged in via the website recently and was surprised as to how many posts I'd made).

It is pretty petty to stalk someone else's history to thumb them down, but it says a lot more about them than you
