I'd also love to have a dollar for everytime I have heard that the Dogs would improve with a new team and be competitive.
And here we go again. Channel 9 sport tonight had a segment on the Eels about this being their year yet again. This could be a record though as it has come 5 to 6 weeks out from the start of the season.
Interviewed Moses and talked up how well the team is prepared for this year, especially Dylan Brown who has a point to prove. Granted they have the nucleus of a very good team, but they lack depth and as I said previously, they will never win a comp while Brad Arthur is coach.

As bad as we've been in the last 15 plus years at least we've won competitions in the '80's, 90's and the last one in 2004. Eels haven't won one since 1986!
