Upto around 2 or 3 years ago I'd have random dreams about smoking and I'd wake up feeling like shit. It's Almost 8 years for me and I was pack to 1.5 a day for around 12 years.

End of this year and after 2 years of homebound Rona bollox shout yourself an overseas holiday with the savings. Just don’t go to Asia or Europe - many still smoke there and you might fall off the wagon

Manufactured cigarettes are regulated. That means they need to know what's in them and they're controlled by various authorities.
Pure tobacco varies depending where it's grown. It always has nicotine, but often it'll have lead and cadmium which is much worse than what you find in cigarettes.

My dad smoked from a teen to about his late 80s...anything he could buy.
It wasn't the smoking that got him but something not related.
My cousin gave up and when he felt like one then went on a walk... endorphins are cool and addictive. He smoke for I think 30+ years so it's really doable.
