If we do sign Burton, where does Blake Green play? Blake Green is nota bad player and he might be good for Flanagans game. But how can you leave Burton out? Does Burton go into the 2nd row?
I've left out Stimson, To`omaga, Britt, Reimis Smith, Lewis and Katoa. It feels like a waste to be leaving some of these guys out but atleast we have depth.

Would not have Craig Smith there or jmk,would try,wakeham or green at hooker ,would have Lewis on bench simply because he’s defensive reads are so good,and maybe under a new coach,may progress.

Wakeham has good vision but I just think he’s too small for hooker, I can’t see him making 30+ tackles a game. If he did I reckon he’d just get injured.
Then again, look at Cameron Smith, he’s never been a big guy but Wakeham doesn’t look durable.
Blake Green has the vision/creativity/kicking game for hooker but I’m not sure he could handle it defensively.
I don’t mind your idea of having Lewis on the bench as you say he could be a utility and he’s good defensively.

I'm sorry but for me the rest just don't kick it they have already had there chance with or without Barrett

I like this team, especially no DWZ and putting Napa on the bench. I'd maybe have Toomaga in for Stimson and swap Jacko and Elliott, just for a bit more size and stiffer defence in the middle, plus I think Elliott is better on the edge and better at playing 80 these days.

I reckon Pay thought Elliott could be a Jim Dymock or Wade Graham sort of player at lock but he isn't, and his defence never hurts anyone. His attack is much better these days though, in his own way, and he'd be better running at holes and sneaking a few off-loads away out wide than Jacko IMO.
