From my observations not many people out there have too many skills that are transposable from one industry to another.
I fear as the nature of business changes that these people will be near unemployable
For instance what do salesman really do? Walk around and nag people? Buyers mostly know what they want and don't need to be speared into a corner. Plus as industry changes salesman can't really transfer their skill.
How have you future proofed yourself? Or are you vulnerable to be on the scrapheap?
