umm Hunter bar is crap now from what I can see...Pavillion is gay and too trendy (no dance floor anymore either from what I can see).

Cave is good the nights wen soul city is on coz theres no teeny boppers.

Im the same situation, there’s six of us guys and all bout 23 years old

Basically you can get into any club but you gotta get there early so they don’t have the right to refuse you entry, but say you try and get in a club at 10-11pm (rush hour) GOOD LUCK!

Places Ive been Refused (and I will never go again!)

Cargo Bar - there excuse, too many guys
Pontoon -there excuse, my sneakers (no laces though)
Watershed -there excuse, I had a sharp haircut
-another night, I was wearing Black and I would be mistaken for security
Casino bars- there excuse, too many guys


This is the dilemma, Girls can get into any club with no probs, no matter how there dressed, most bouncers said that guys can only get in if there with girls, then girls start complaining that they cant meet anyone and there are no good guys out there. ITS BECAUSE WE DON’T GET LET IN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yeh at least with VIP that gives about 80% more chance of getting everyone in.
hip hop and rnb is the go with my mates and i. so this mighten be too bad.
iwill definatly grab them off you if they are gunna go to waste. and see what happens from there.

I know exactly where DoggyStylz is coming from (seeing as I go clubbin with him all the time)!

We have plenty of style so we are always dressed for the occasion, and we also do get girls on par with us to aid in our entry whenever we can (why wait until you are inside the club to pick up!).

The biggest problem though is the inconsistancy. We have got into all the clubs that he mentioned, however, one night we will have no problem getting in, and then the next night we get some poor excuse, despite the fact nothing has changed. If we had planned to meet any people there (which is usually the case), this makes an instant mess of the night.

This is why we now only frequent clubs where we are ensured entry as it makes it a hell of alot easier to organise a decent night out. This way we get maximum time at the bar, rather then wandering around looking for a club we can get into!

The sad fact is the Sydney clubbing scene sucks to a large extent. Annoying guys wanting to start fights....never being allowed in anywhere without some glamour tagged to ur arm...drinks costing close enough to 10 bucks.

It really is a bit of a joke.
