I'd love to kick the aircon over, but at like $2 an hr I don't feel like getting bent over by AGL on our next bill.

Just found out you can buy personal cooling vests but they are like $150USD +

I've got an old esky and could hack it up to make a portable air cooler, but that requires effort... and it's already hot.

I've heard that as well but think it's an urban legend, as the AC fans on the external unit blow out (as they are extracting heat aren't they?)
