I think this is like the third shot Hoppa has had at playing FB for us and we always come to the same conclusion, he's just not fast enough.

Hoppa's a better footballer than most of our squad, but that's not hard, and one of the most committed IMO. But there's no position for him anymore. Even with slick halves and dummy half, he hasn't got the pace to capitalise. In our shit squad he's probably a centre for now, but we need better fullbacks/wingers/centres than Hoppa to be a force.

Wouldn't surprise me at all to see Cotric playing fullback next year.

I've been telling you for a year he's the cancer of our particular side.

It's just been hidden, because he doesn't make silly outward errors, and a lot of his colleagues do just that.

But he's slow and an attack killer. A smart centre with no size or speed eating 600k a year is a problem.

i base my 600 a year figure on two comments.
1. i saw an old article that said 'the bulldogs are setting aside 600 for Hoppa extension' or something like that. it was in some RL article by someone in the know.
2. The insider heard a comment like 'we have 4 guys in the backline on more than 500' once early this year. Those 4 would be foran (1.2), dwz (550), Holland (500 backended) and ....hoppa (600).
