Hey everyone Im new to this forum so not too sure this has been discussed or not but would like to know your thoughts on our halves I feel having either Reynolds or Mbye on the bench is a bit of a waste.. Thoughts on moving mbye to fullback??

Lol has definetly been discussed and although there are some that agree with u its an overwhelming no on mbye to fullback. B moz is killing it there and mbye is the future of our halves and needs to get his experience there.

Welcome to The Kennel Don.

As faras Mbye to fullback the answer would be no. The two reasons are (a) Mbye is going very well in attack on the left side as half or five eighth and his defence is okay too. (b) Brett Morris is going so well at fullback it would be illogical replacing him.

As far as the three halves go, well its a very awkward situation. Hodkinson is a good half back as far as ability is concerned but he is badly hampered by a now never ending knee injury. Hasler keeps selecting him at half, Mbye looks to have cemented the five eighth spot which unfortunately leaves Reynolds as a spare part. So that's basically it.

Our left edge is also the second strongest edge in the comp, would make no sense to move moses some where else.

He's more than capable of playin any position in the backline but im sure his preferred position is in the halves n all his jnr days were played in the halves plus while bmoz is fit n healthy theres no way you'd move him, wada gun he is

People need to f*cking stop with the Mbye to fullback role. Apart from the fact he's almost never played there and Barba was only good at fullback after Hasler got his hands on him with a full preseason that is utter suicide, the other thingis B.Morris has been brilliant for us there. You're weakening two positions to allow Reynolds and Hodkinson to play.

Hodkinson was amazing last night and i am very pleased to have him play with that form, but he still needs to show consistency, Reynolds has not been better than Mbye at no.6 and thus does not deserve to unseat him

mate, firstly, welcome...

secondly, thanks for starting a brand new thread on this "silent topic", I've been meaning to ask something like this... due to not enough discussion on this topic being on the forum...

Just messing, but welcome was genuine! Thanks for getting involved and not being a stalking creep!

welcome to the kennel DonHasler.

Brett morris is a far better fullback than Mbye and was bought to the club as a fullback.

Mbye says he wants to play in the halves and is making a great effort there.

No No No No No.

Morris is absolutely superb at fullback whilst Moses is untested under the highball and has never played fullback before.
