There are plenty of up and coming starts to bring to our club first and for most thou our board I mean the whole board needs to be changed simple we need structure from the top down bring in Barrett give him what he wants bring in Mick Ennis as a assistant and JT as a half’s coach and then the best trainers money can buy get a major sponser then start our recruitment drive enough is enough this Board is incompetent in it for there own sick reason we need to stop the in fighting then maybe we might be able to attract talent to our club again

Other than the handful of NRL games Burton has played (which have really impressed me) how many people can honestly say they’ve followed his form through the juniors? I can’t.

Just wondering if there’s a bit of passive acceptance of his ability going on here. Seems to be on everyone’s list.

If foran is happy to take a much reduced contract and can stay fit id have him, we cant replace one halfback with another, we need 2 good halfbacks so we either sign one to play with Foran or 2 , one to replace foran and another good halfback, what we have at the minute is not good enough, id like Blake Green and Hastings. Id take Elliot, he d be okay in a good team off the bench, nothing more, we need a 9 also! 1,6,7 and 9, never replaced Ennis, if we dont get them positions right we ll never be good enough to make the 8. Once they are sorted then we should look at players like Cotric etc.

I'm in that boat, seen way more of Lachlan Lam hence why I was advocating him. People just love a big bodied 6 with a strong running and short game these days

You may be right on that. Haven't seen any of his games in the juniors but he was a gun (like Avo) and seems to be living up to it. With some players you can just tell - they've got that swagger about them and a touch of class - Avo and Burton both have it. It doesn't mean they are guaranteed to be guns in FG, but so far so good

I think you have to go with an order of what you want.
Mine would be hooker, centre, half, prop. That would be considering we kept CHN and Okunbour.
As well as that you have to have a first second and third.
I would start at hooker. Chuck 900k-1mil at Mcinnis. If not give 650k to Friend. If not then offer the dragons 500k for Hunt.
Then go to centre. Give Cotric what he wants, 600k. Ask Stephen Crichton if he wants 500k and a centre position for now. If not then ask Herbie Farnworth if he wants 350.
After that is half. I would go for Burton at 300. Or we could get Hastings for 400. Or we could get Tristan Sailor at 200.
You then have the prop. Welch may want 400k. Francis Molo may like 200. Taumou may want a career-ender for 400.
If we have money left over I would go for Johnston at 200. Also, I would like Watson at 350 and DeBelin at 300.
