I lost so much skin off my hands playing handball. A few of my mates used to be able to have some nice games where the ball hardly got any higher than your ankle. The trick was to rub 90% of the hair off the ball first so it got maximum velocity and never gripped the ground. It was also the way we set the ball up for brandings.

Thats some serious tactics there...Im sure your fav player is James graham after his Vasoline trick on the back of the legs yeah ?

We used to lean the cards against the wall, and you won what you knocked over.

The only thing i remember is if you had doubles that was your flicking card and you would bet for the good cards on the side so they would not get damaged.

Really was a art form wasn't it ?
