I wonder if Broncos fans will want him relegated to the reggies the way Knights fans turned on Dom Young?

Good signing by the Dolphins. Brisbane become more of a rabble by the day. Good thing their saviour Ikin is in charge..
All my mates at work who are all Pony pansies think some guy who has played 1 first grade game in Diene Mariner is way better than him. Hate that club so much

Don't be surprised if Mariner joins him at Dolphins when he comes off contract in 24 has already tried to get multiple releses to join them at the end of the last year . Mariner is a great talent will be definitely one to watch

It will only get worse for the Broncos, they now have to compete with the Dolphins for the best Queensland juniors. It's ridiculous how they were able to bring up young guns year after year. Cobbo, Walsh, Walker, Carrigan, Coates, Arrow, Sua, Fifita, etc.

Ponga, Munster, Lindsay Colin's, Tino were all in the broncos system. Harry Grant was overlooked.

I reckon they're one of the biggest disappointments, they should've at least won a few more comps since 2006 with the big talent pool that they have.

Why would you want a real FB when you can overpay ANOTHER Penrith centre to pretend to play FB?

One penrith centre pretending to be a half is more than enough.

Agree, I don’t understand the Crichton signing, he’s the only signing under Gould that didn’t make sense unless he acquired him to be a strike centre, the fact he’s been targeted for fb, unproven in the NRL, is strange. Guys like Will Kennedy and Daine Laurie (actual fullbacks) are off contract this year, either of these options are better and cheaper, although neither are rockstars…. They had Reece Walsh wanting to come back home from the Warriors and is the absolute real deal, a future superstar (if not already) and we didn’t even look at him.

the Burton decision I can live with although at the time, I was hoping they pursued Nico Hynes. Again, at the time both were showing signs of potential - we had and still have a love affair with Penrith and this is influencing our decisions.

Dolphins will be the next big thing and they have a coach who is no nonsense and will take the new club far, you have to be impressed even only after one game. And we are so far from Building anything close to that right now.

The “taking time to gel” theory is a myth, utter nonsense - you get a full pre-season, trials and paid as a professional to fire by round 1.

Dolphins, a completely new team, with no prior experience together 1 through 13 did a job against the Roosters, that’s saying something.

At the end of the day, we have one of the weakest spines in the competition and this was compounded by a powder-puff forward pack.

Oh we have the weakest team in the comp, not just spine. And yes gel is crap, a coach that can take a bunch of new players and a new club and smash one the nrl heavyweights says a lot.

We are going to end up with the bulk of our squad comprised of centres/wingers and second rowers but no halves, fullbacks or middles.

It's an excuse players can hide behind, another example of losers mentality
