Both are off contract, but neither are on the "released" list

Both not contracted with us for next year. They're both looking for clubs and Gus believes they're worth more than minimum wage (not sure if he was being nice or serious).

Crighton on minimum. He has potential. Strong runner and looked like a beast at the start of the year. Shame he got injured.

Where do you play him? JAC and Cotric are almost certainly our NRL wingers and we have Okunbor and Katoa re-signed/extended for next year who you'd think are our reserve grade wingers/depth.

exactly the squad needs to be balanced. Crighton was a poor signing, he was playing at St Marys played a few first grade games and we paid overs for him. Poor signing imo.

I would have thought their both gone as maybe we're looking at another prop with money freed up and as BK said we have depth on the wings already.

Crichton would definitely be a wasted top 30 spot. He’s not playing FG next year and there’s enough back up. Best of luck to him finding another club. Tbh I probably wouldn’t have re-signed Katoa either.

we dont need to fill the roster until mid next year anyway, so hopefully the reserve grade gets up and running and someone jumps out of the pack. Ogden is not going to win us a comp so it doesnt matter

Ogden was disappointing this year, and only has himself to blame if he gets punted. he has the ability and potential to be a very good prop but he was sadly lacking enthusiasm and aggression in 2021

Depth hence the minimum wage... hes better than katoa imo and he can cover centre also.

Centre was about the only position he played. He was consistently caught out of position on the wing, running in when he wasn't required, gifting the opposition an overlap and a saloon passage to the tryline

Yeah alot of wingers get blamed for it but most of the time they have to come in to make up for defensive mistakes on the inside.

If the club can move on C Allen, then a cheap 1yr deal to Crichton would suit all parties.
