Union works a bit differently now as a lot of the cash has gone, so you don't get the retainer anymore for playing for the Wallabies, just paychecks for games played. The ARU has been playign Beale from the bench, which is why he is not happy. I think he would go well at the Dogs, has some great playmakign skills and a decent kicking game. That said, French rugby would probably blow any offer we could throw him off the park, so really if he came across, he would be coming for the right reasons.

Completely disagree. Greenberg made a massive difference to an outsiders perception of our club. For us die hard fans maybe he didn't fully deliver. And maybe he made some calls we didn't like etc.
But for the rest of the Australian public he turned around an unfair and ugly perception of our club. That perception could one day have killed us. His role was PR and in that regard he did really well for us. Culminating in appointing the first female NRL CEO. Public relations genius
IMO we owe him a massive debt.
