Honestly I don't see much Dale in him. Dale was more kamikaze style, bit more dynamic but that lead to a few errors. Hayes is more reliable, just a consistent up and down type of player, like a younger, more athletic Tolman lol.
We don't speak that name around here

I wont comment on Leo lol

Its bad luck for Sam because after the trial i thought this would be the year for him, and now hes not even in the team.

I still think he will be in the team as soon as Sexton or Reed gets punted.

Actually i will comment on Leo LOL, i think you are right in we will lose guys, we just have to many good.middle forwards now and not all will wont to sit in NSW cup.

I like Leo as a player and he will make us better imo, but he really isnt needed. Like not at all imo

This is what i think, before signing him we heard the talk of them wanting a "alpha" prop, thats wat we needed. Well to me King is "alpha" enough right now, he can be the pack leader. Hes running harder than ever and hes even smashing blokes in tackles.
He’s getting help. King is a beast

Our production line seems like it's getting back into full swing. I was born in 79. And for a lot of my life I took for granted that my football team just bought great talent through to the NRL. But after Greenberg pulled the rug from under it I saw how much appreciation we needed to express for how well it used to work. I know the Anderson cop some flack on this forum. And their tenure didn't seem to show results. But they pretty much built the board that is running the show now. They expanded our nursery into some neglected Rugby League areas which have handed us the likes of Hayes, Todd, Wilson etc.

But recently we've been seeing it come good again. And Hayes is definitely a shining example of the talent that we're bringing through. Monday night was one of the biggest in his career. But the thing is he's performed well with pretty much every chance he's had. Recent weeks have just given him more opportunities to shine with some additional players out and more time on field to show his wares. He's going to create plenty of selection headaches as the more experienced forwards get back on field.

Injury has put Hughes back.

Dunno whos better or not (dont care both play for us so happy days), but Harry is progressing FAST.

Hughes best year and pretty much only full year was last year and he ended it averaging 85 metres good tackle percentage.

Harry this year is averaging over 110 metres a game and makes his tackles too.

I looked at what Hughes was showing in the trials this year and thought he has stepped up a level or two with the offseason. Unfortunately he's had no opportunity to bring that into the NRL. I'm eager to see if his improvement is evident when he gets a chance to play in the top 17 again.

Our cup runneth over this year. Hopefully we make the right decisions with retention moving forwards. Other clubs are going to be looking to raid us once again. And while ultimately that's annoying, it's also great to be one of the clubs that produces enough NRL talent that our juniors will be peppered in the run on sides throughout the comp.

And that's why you need to have an assembly line of players coming through. Cause good teams get picked apart.

No nonsense, goes all day and never lets you down. Great player that I think we'll have trouble holding onto over the next few years

Gus will make him a priority to keep I reckon

He is developing into the modern forward that can play prop and second row for long minutes. Brings balance to the side. Good to have Curran and Todd who play similar roles.

At the start of the year I thought Hayes would miss out when everyone is available but his consistant performances cement his position in the top 17 for me
