I wouldn't be surprised if the Aussies "lose". Like DC said, 300+ million people = big money.

It's not very unlikely DF - I mean really at the end of the day - it's all about the money. That and I would like to have something to watch over there if I choose to go live there again :p

Well they wont "throw" the match, but they will make it look a lot closer than it really is, if you know what I mean.................

Yeah. When it comes down to it it, it would be a huge revenue raiser. If the league could get even a small foothold in America imagine the merchandise alone. they love that stuff.

yeh but the president of US rugby league said that if they get 10,000 to this game they would be happy...so they're not expecting a massive crowd..

however...as u stated...like the france game..if it is as close...then it will attract more...but if the scoreline is 76-0 then most of the population will think its not worth the time nor the money

I heard Julian O'Neil was going to be playing for The US team. The team might want to check their boots before they put them on ;)
