Who is they? It was a different squad every time. The only bloke around for it all has been RFM and he was injured every year lol

This is the deeply concerning crux of the matter. This slack loser attitude started with Hasler and has continued on unabated and unchecked with 6? different full time and part time coaches.

A big example was the broncos last year, they had been in this same predicament as us for many years and last year showed so much improvement so we knew coming this year they would do so much better. Not really a fair comment........the Bronco's even then had a roster......we simply do not have a competitive roster and for that reason it is hard to see improvement (even where there is some with one or two players). We simply do not have the skill, the fitness, the size or the tactics to win games. If it was up to me I would clean them all out and start again, but there is not a lot of available talent for us to pick up now.......should be an interesting off season.....

Yes they were missing a few players, but their roster was still better than ours on the day. The real point from that game was that we won because we played off the top of our heads.......no restrictive structures and this shows what we can do when the players are switched on and not over coached (Barret did not see that and now CC is headed the same way). There are 9 players in that 17 man squad, who would not get a run in any other first grade side.....

Have to agree Howie.......have to give him the opportunity to develop both the team and himself. I can clearly remember as usual that probably 80% of those on TK were clammering and wetting themselves to get CC as the next coach.........nothing changes on TK..........a poor year and everyone has the knives out. Yes CC has made lot's of errors and shown a lack of experience, but in fairness he has not had a lot of cattle to play with...........Kiks, Thompson, RFM & others have been missing for long periods........youngsters have had to pick up the pieces and only a couple like Preston have managed to do so consistently. This year is clearly a write off and we need some smart operators and brains to work with CC in the early off season to address these issues and make adjustments.........we all want immediate success and improvement, but that doesn't always come......most of the other sides (particularly those in the bottom 8) also strengthened their sides better than we did during the last off season........just look at the Warriors....

I sincerely hope the performance yesterday hasn't made his condition worse.

It wouldn't surprise me though. Not many fans feel any positive vibes going forward.

Wish this guy every bit of luck. Hope the Dogs can put a smile on him with a visit.

One of my biggest concerns no matter who the coach is, is when they cannot arrest the slide.

We are less than 3/4 through the season, are playing horribly and week to week look like we are getting worse.

There is just no positivity whatsoever. The injury excuse has faded given we just about have everyone back on deck. No other team has less than 2 injuries to their starting 17.

No team should be writing off a season this early in the season and not be criticised.

We cannot just see out the season with a heap of losses and think we are on the improve. That's a cop-out

I want a team and coach that can devise a gameplan with the available players in our squad that can turn things around. I do this every week coaching junior AFL against much better sides to ours on paper.

It's called team engineering. And we have none of it. Too many dumb players in our team and obviously a coach that cannot understand the limits of his players - both physically or mentally

I like Madge as a coach and as a person but if our captain can’t handle being booed how would he react to being screamed at?!
