Who do you think Rabs learnt it off?

What I've learnt is that we need to find some more horse race callers to come and commentate the NRL. That's where the best have come from. PVL should be able to tap one on the shoulder and make channel 9 take them.

Who do you think Rabs learnt it off?

What I've learnt is that we need to find some more horse race callers to come and commentate the NRL. That's where the best have come from. PVL should be able to tap one on the shoulder and make channel 9 take them.

From that one video alone, I still prefer Rabs. Sucks our commentators are all shit now.

I was trying to find a better one, but he was famous for yelling, and doing everything from Swimming, to motor racing etc for channel 9. He is the OG and Rabs wouldn't be who he was without Darryl Eastlake carving the path and takign commentary from a different low key era, to one that brought excitment and made the game better. Origin wouldn't have been the same.

80s and 90s. Him and Rabs actually commentated together. That's how Rabs learnt.

That idiot who commentates on Channel 9 now is total rubbish and makes the most exciting game sound like a total bore. Andrew Johns laxical style doesn't really help either.

This might give you a better idea even if it's car racing how Darrel went off when something was happening on the field...

I dont generally watch 9 because its 2 years behind but the fox sports commentators are generally ass as well.

Fox sports commentators are better cause they just call the game bit like the NFL commentators. Don't spend the next 10minutes going on about a situation that happened earlier that they are drumming up as controversy. I'm not sure how people listen to channel 9.

I just watch in silence, maybe with a quiet (quite literally) beverage or several.
If she cannot see the TV on, my missus gets concerned I've taken up meditation or something...until there's a BS penalty or Six-Again of course ;)

dam that would be so good, they do my head in most the time but i also wanna listen to the game for immersion, that would be a nice toggle but Kayo still hasn't found the mysterious technology that is "Continue Watching" so maybe in 2077.
