Broadbeach is much better then surface unless your 18

Expect carloads of bogan shitheads and sluts to travel the short distance from the shit areas of Tweed/Palm Beach/Burleigh Heads/Miami/Mermaid Beach up to Cavill Ave and stink the place up with their prescence.

Seriously, Surfers has become f**ked these days. Too many bogan dropkicks moved up there and completely f**ked the area. It's now become an area to go, get completely shitfaced, and make a ****wit of yourself, than a place to go and enjoy yourself.

And yet somehow, amongst the chaos, Broadbeach has withstood becomming Dickhead Central.

Surfers / Main Beach has gone from like being a nice pub you could hang out at with your mates, to "that" pub where all the trouble and brawls happen around.

Go to broadbeach, surfers is pretty bad but the strip club hollywood showgirls is nice. You should also check out the casino at broad beach its really cruisey and there are like 5 different bars to hang out at inside.

Majority of that is rubbish the fact you list some of those places like tweed and surfers with burleigh and main beach is a joke. Ive lived on the coast along time and surfers has always been a shit hole full of young idiots. Broadbeach mermaid and burleigh are beautiful spots

I can see how you got it mixed up but burleigh heads is not what ur talking about. As mentioned burleigh mermaid and parts of broadbeach are the best on the coast. Comparing burleigh to tweed or varsity is like comparing bondi to redfern. Anyhow the local gov renamed a part in varsity lakes that was known as stephens to burleigh waters which other then that spot is also a nice suburb. That spot is across one of the main highways and no where near the beach. The locals still call it stephens and that is where your idea may of come from but certainly not burleigh heads!

Lol deadset. surfers paradise i agree the rest your tripping bud. Ive been around sydney and gc alot. If u think u go to surfers for the gc then ur either 18-20 and going out or a major tourist. I stopped going at about 23 right around the time i realised lock up and fights and drunk idiots and whores arent an answer to my life lol. Go to mermaid beach or burleigh heads beach and even prts of broadbeach and ull love it.

I don't mind Broadbeach bro. Haven't been to Mermaid Beach or Burleigh Heads.

The Avenue, just off Cavill Ave isn't too bad, not full of the younger generation from my point of view. And around the corner from there, is Melba's which gets pretty big crowds in.
