Couldn't agree more.
A ***** act.
What happened at that game did the Dogs win?
We lost something like 28 - 12 so that made it worse. They were up when it happened as well and had just scored which had revved up the local guys and was why we decided to make a move and grab some food. I think they just got caught up in a moment of drunken stupidity and in retrospect would probably feel ashamed about it or you would hope they did. But it was still a brutal thing to do to a young bloke trying to impress his peers and the opposite sex on one of his first parent less nights allowed out and I fully understood that as a 14 year old at the time because I was so imbarresed. Bur I think so did my St George mates as they were all disgusted by it and didn't give me any shit.
Looking up at the grown men on the hill all in hysterics as the guy had thrown a "great shot" at a "filthy Dogs" supporter even though he was a young kid was absolutely disgusting and a couple of St George supporters that saw it came and escorted me off to safety which I appreciated.
If it happened today I would like to think I would do the right thing and inform the police and get the guy banned but unfortunately I suspect I would probably just reinforce our clubs bad name in the papers the next day.
