Geyer supporting endometriosis because his daughter has it.
Michael J Fox supporting parkinsons after he contracted it.
Mark Hughes making his foundation after he gets brain cancer.

Better than nothing and there is respect. Easy to be passionte when your directly affected, but I'd respect it more if say, Kerrod Holland came out in support of rabies/lyssavirus or crocodile attacks in the top end.

It may be for selfish reasons, but the ends justify the means, in these cases.

PS I have been a donor since I got my L's back in 96, 21 years later, I am lucky to be alive because of another donor.
