Don’t forget his amazing ability to pull out an ‘infringement’ out of nowhere and then for the rest of the match not pull up similar ‘infringements’
yes, Sutton and his art of cherry picking (or rather berry) when he sees Bulldogs jerseys on game day.

Sutton did us no favours bar one dumb call when he penalised the Broncos against Connor Tracey for a dangerous tackle - he landed on his back - and it was never dangerous.

The rest of the time, he was nit picking, calling held early against us, calling it late against us, even that ball kicked by Sexton hitting that trainer was farcical - the touch judge or video ref could have easily said, where it hit him is where the tap is taken - nope, they let a broncos trainer be the 18th man on the field

We did ourselves no favours with errors and poor discipline, Sutton went out of his way to bury us and the Broncos turned up ready to play hard with Reynolds in fine form!

We may have lost by 12 if that day was not crazy.

Don’t complain about refs it makes us look weak. Bronx hammered us in the first half and good on em. They deserved the W. My confidence in this team has not budged abit. We’ll catch em on the rebound.
We were outplayed in a big way. No question about that. Sutton wasn’t the reason but he still played a role.

However that doesn’t stop the fact that whenever we have Sutton as a referee. The game turns into these messy inflamed fiery clashes. It feels like every game he refs us he is front and centre in the conversation. A good referee should go unnoticed.

Unfortunately the state of officiating in the game has never been in a worse state. So incompetence and the potential for corruption run in harmony.

The on field referee isn’t as big a problem as the bunker.

The bunker absolutely has to be consistent in all matters. The only way to have a chance of this is for the same PEOPLE to be full time bunker officials.

The same panel of 3 should sit independently from each other. With a majority rules outcome. The same panel are the bunker officials for every single game played.

good summary plus the Haas try off a blatant forward pass. i think Sutton is worth 12 points to the opposition by the way he refs. Enough to alter the outcome of a close game or make a close loss into a wipeout.

at one stage the NRL refs had 3 Suttons which explains the WWE quality of NRL refs.

Has anybody asked Gus about Sutton. Somebody should send him a message on twitter. Would love to know his response.
He tweeted about the game saying he enjoyed it more than any other Bulldogs game this season lol

stop with the sooking and blaming the referee, look at the behavior of the team most of what happened was poor discipline and self-inflicted, sutton may not like the bulldogs, but if his calls were as bad and wrong as a lot of fans say, then there would be mention of it in the media
Were not allowed to speak about it. haven't you heard Vandys is contacting football shows and podcasts to not talk about poor referees

Be a shame if our sponsor decided to announce a class action suit against him and the NRL, after developing a dossier going back a decade.
Wonder how many people who have lost wagers would jump right onto it.
Potentially tens to hundreds of millions in potential damages to justify the effort from a certain legal organisation.

I actually think Sutton is easily worth 18 points to the opposition every game,
For us to win any game when he is the ref we really need to be 4 try's up

And with only 15mins (at the most) till full time...otherwise there's still time for him and his "interpretations" lol
