No, WE fucked us and have no one else to blaim but our selves and CC said as much at the presser!

I don’t know what to do about Sutton? He is in our heads as fans and I am sure he is in the players heads as well. Unfortunately he is the second or third best ref in the game and it is probably only his inconsistency and bias against us that keeps him from top spot. The hatred is two way he knows we hate him and he hates us and probs blames us for him not getting origin grand finals games etc. However we will get him in big games and what if we get him in a knockout semi this year?

The broncos played well yesterday and rattled us in that first set. Sutton didn’t cost us that but he did help Brisbane keep up the momentum. Calls like Salmons leg pull were not a penalty maybe a 6 again but probs not even that as it was during the tackle not after to slow him down. These calls made it 34 nil . When it could have been 18 nil, giving us a chance to make a game of it in the second half.

Moving forward We probs need to play a significant number of games with him for the remainder of this year hopefully against weaker opposition to hopefully work out our issues if it’s possible….

Inthink you misunderstood my post probably due to my poor writing skills

I was actually asking the question.
Over the years, under sutton we fall to shit as a team why?

I think he’s been around long enough to read the game that he’s selective on when he calls his shots. Just like a tradesmen can fix his own fuck ups he’s mastered his rat skills
 
Sutton needs to be dealt with by the club as we cant afford to not have the issue addressed before semi's. The fact is, regardless of how bad we tanked as a team last night, he torpedoes us in penalty counts, six agains, stoppages in play when we have momentum, sin bins and even pulling us back to the mark. Last night we had a defensive player that was dragged back behind their play the ball and he just let the play go on. We had forward passes for broncs tries that he just lets go. We even had a momentum moment and he says that docs called a head bin. We cant afford to just let him get away scott free after stats show the clear bias. Its irrefutable.
 
It doesn't get much more obvious. First loss of the season = Sutton.

Demetriou at Souffs last season had fuck all wins until Good Friday.

His bias is so clear when you look at these results that go against all key indicators of a quality footy team.

This **** needs to fuck off and retire or we need to field a player who will KO him 'accidentally'.
 
The Broncos hustled us in the Trials in the exact same fashion they did last night!
Adam Reynolds also showed us that even with aging legs, he was able to kick and chip his way to nailing us in the first half.
Montoya was in no man’s land for a couple of their tries.
Critta needed to step up last night and question some of the calls, but failed!
If Tedesco can have a 5mins conversation questioning calls with refs, Critta should do the same
 
stop with the sooking and blaming the referee, look at the behavior of the team most of what happened was poor discipline and self-inflicted, sutton may not like the bulldogs, but if his calls were as bad and wrong as a lot of fans say, then there would be mention of it in the media
 
The only thing that needs to be noted is the sin bin calls come from the bunker.
 
How many sin bins and send off's has Sutton issued to the Dogs since the Klemmer & Graham Good Friday clash

I'm personally not blaming him for the loss. The score? Absolutely.. not so much the sin bins but the penalties Broncs received in almost set in the opening 20 were a joke.

Yeah we were terrible the first half and our own worst enemies but its unbelievable the number of times there's a Sutton Moment to alter the flow of a game....and it's 10 to 1 its not us that receives that Sutton Moment.

Hard to belief we are so unlucky or bad not to receive so very very few good Sutton Moments.

Agree. He's not to blame for the loss or our dumb ill discipline but he only sees things one way for the majority of the game when adjudicating our games. There were 2 leg lifts from Broncs when he had the opportunity to penalise them for the same type of incident, but didn't. (Personally they were all not penalty worthy but he chose to run with what helps our opposition.

He's not a good ref at the best of times and a real spoiler in fowling up good games, but it's uncanny how controversial his reffing is.

He doesn't let games flow. Any chance of getting into a rhythm in the first half was spoiled by the whistle
