The NRL, State Government and ANZ Stadium have made it even easier for Sydney Rugby League fans to attend Friday night’s blockbuster Qualifying Final between the Bulldogs and Sea Eagles with all public transport costs now included in the ticket price.
Junior Pass holders who have activated their passes will also be able to gain free entry to the Week 1 Telstra Premiership Finals matches in Sydney and Melbourne.
The special event public transport service to and from ANZ Stadium on Friday night will assist all fans to be part of the only Week 1 Telstra Premiership Finals Series match to be played in Sydney.
“This is a great opportunity to enjoy the excitement of the Finals Series and I would like to thank the NSW Government and ANZ Stadium for their support in providing this service to fans travelling to the game on Friday night,” NRL Interim Chief Executive, Mr Shane Mattiske, said today.
“There are four intriguing matches to open the finals series and I wish all the players, coaches, match officials, members and fans the best of luck over the next four weeks.”
ANZ Stadium Managing Director, Mr Daryl Kerry, said the move to integrated ticketing was a reflection of the status of Friday night’s Qualifying Final.
“The Bulldogs versus Manly final is the most exciting Rugby League game this season and every effort has been made to make it as accessible as possible for footy fans across the Sydney area,’’ Kerry said.
“With a ticket to the game in your hands you can jump on a train or bus anywhere in the metropolitan area and be part of the big night.”
Direct services between Central and Olympic Park Station will operate every eight minutes from 5.30pm, stopping at Redfern and Strathfield stations.
Customers travelling from other locations or prior to 5.30pm should travel to Lidcombe Station and change for Olympic Park services, that will depart every 10 minutes to Olympic Park Station.
Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Bus services are operating on all 12 major event bus routes across Sydney. Services will commence between approximately 3.45pm and 5pm, depending on the route.

If driving, the NRMA suggests the fastest way for Sea Eagles supporters to make their way to Sydney Olympic Park may be to travel along Mona Vale Road, turn into Lane Cove Road, take the Victoria Road exit at North Ryde, follow through to Silverwater Road and then head into Sydney Olympic Park.
