Zorastarian / Parsi is the original religion of Paras / Faris or as you know now the place called Iran.

The movie is wrong, he was of Parsi descent, he was born in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The movie got a few things wrong.

In the movie it said he was diagnosed with AIDS in 1985 but he was diagnosed in 1987.

Farrokh Bulsara was Parsi, but yes, born in Zanzibar.
