Well it seems as though they have come to play. But will they be able to withstand five days?

The tail has wagged. We are now 9/430 Warne Lee and Bracken have all contributed to the total.

Just like the Ashes.... The tail wagged, ran out of puff, then offered nothing in attack....

435 all out. The Aussies will need early wickets as the wicket is it's best today and tomorrow.

considering how well bracken bowled its a bit strange that he didnt get a run in england, especially when you take into account the damage done by swing bowlers in the ashes

Bracken should have been considered in the ashes but it wasn't really australia's fault how flintoff was bowling reverse swing all the time there. Bracken would have been a good choice but it's too late now we just have to concentrate on beating the windies and the sth africans.

bracken is a good choice as back up pace bowler to lee & mcgrath. i'd love to see macgill in the attack too. watson is injured now & will be out for 2 months, which is good, coz he;'so overrated. andrew symonds will get his chance to impress in the baggy agreen & expect him to make it count this time.

he didnt get enough opportunity in sri lanka last year. his ifelding alone & versatile bowling options make a handy contributor, & if he gets goin with the bat then he punish the best of bolwing attacks.

Yep he brings both batting, fielding and a bit of bowling to the table. I think they might give him a go.
And what is the deal with Pontings comment about Katitch? Did he say the same when Hayden was struggling???? No. It just shows how hard it is to break into the Australian side.

Brad Hodge has replaced simon katich and Andrew Symonds has replaced watson.

I reckon it isnt a bad idea especially in bellerive where the pitch wont do alot of damage,
putting in a few all rounders will confuse the windies and there bowling attack will still not be up to attack unless they make some changes to there side.

Aussies 2-0 by the end of the bellerive test.
