It seems to have worked for the Warriors but then again we are one tier below them in NRLol hierarchy so even Arthur speaking up wouldn't be changin' anything much.

Long way off before we put together a team the refs and NRLol fear, and favour.
Gus blew up on 100% footy about us not getting the calls last week. He needs to continue doing it. It's the only way unfortunately.

Didn't help this week :(

He'll be blowing up for a year to hope to have any impact and by then DT/Fox will have hounded him mercilessly :grinning:

Quite 50/50 you get some of them and some you dont, if that was a roosters pass we would say how could they miss that forward pass.
I was more shocked with how Tupouniua wasnt sent to the bin thats a bin every week so far, bizarre. Still had the ball with the chance to win with under 10 minutes to go.. getting better every week which is great but thats where a quality halfback like Hunt would get us over the line.

1m forward not to say we havent seen them let go every week.

Another game we couldn't buy a call.. Those non sin binning's of Tupanuoea and the Knee lift which ruled out Mahoney by Sualili'i were far worse calls than that forward.

It was the evil spirits, how does a pass leave the hands backwards but float forward?
Like those goal kicks kickers pull off.

I have looked at the replay and fairly confident that it was not a forward pass but only just. If you draw a line directly over the 40 meter line than move it back to where the pass was made then all the flight of the ball in the first few frames you can see it that it is just marginally backwards. What makes it appear worse is the camera angle and how deep Averillo was. He had to reach forward not because it was out too far in front but because he was too far behind. Yes it did float forward but that was because you have to factor Hayze motion into path the ball takes. Sitili should have been sin binned, Sualili should have been sin binned and this should have been a try.

Hopefully, Jake can receive better ball from Crichton (If he's still here next year). Say what you want, but if we run with this backline:

1. Crichton
2. Kiraz
3. Avo
4. Alamoti/Xerri (one of them may be in the forwards)
5. JAC

That is a good backline if used properly.
