Foran was basically on one leg but in hindsight even a legless Foran would do wonders for us. Isn't he currently injured again with Manly anyway?

He broke his hand/wrist, something like that. Manly signed Foran with that in mind, hence why he's worth little to nothing now even tho ability wise he's much better than the average five-eighth.

Manly is doing well because of Tommy Turbo .. first month of the year they looked rubbish & had Foz & DCE playing..
True but the way the defence works these days, you need to have either decent halves with a gun fullback, or gun halves with a decent fullback.

Absolutely was a waste of money for return .
His huge salary major part of the reason we were hamstrung with our cap position.
Glad he moved on especially after not choosing to take a lesser contract and repay the club after milking us dry.
easiest 3 plus mill anyone could make.
Different story if he was on field and played like a mill player every game.

you need to remember we all thought burton would be given an early release and if he was then benji and foran would both not be needed.

unfortunately the release kept getting rejected therefore foran and benji would t have been. handy.

Boy are we missing this bloke I don’t give a shit what anyone says, he definitely is the missing link between us competing and not. And boy what a slap in the face that offer was.
The slap in the face was how he suddenly became fit, and able to play whole games after he left Belmore. Must be the sea air.

No doubt that at his healthy best, adds value, but Foran = old news and you don’t pay a guy 4-500k for 8 games.. we needed to progress past a one legged journeyman. It’s given Averillo an opportunity that he wouldn’t have had ordinarily.

Burton/Avo looks to be our halves pairing unless TB is not convinced with Avo.

The club offered him a one year deal which was more than fair. He declined it and went to Manly for the same amount of time (and I think less money).

The Manly deal is for 2 years but next year is the clubs option so realistically it’s a 1 year deal.

He always wanted to go back to Manly
