Even if those retire, surely it's time to bring some juniors through and stop paying 500k for every prop. We have way too many props. The game has gone past using heavy packs. I saw getting a prop as the biggest waste of money. We need points, not blokes who get metres. We are getting in position enough to score points but we have overpaid for a fullback who is hopeless and went overboard with Mybe. Even if Mybe becomes decent, is he Cam Smith level? That's basically what he's being paid! Hunt's signing is terrible and one the Dragons will feel for a while.
Don't disagree in relation to props generally. We need some size but after that with the change in the game, we need creativity in the halves etc that currently we don't have. I think young Brown will add a bit and he is only young. What we really need is for some young halves/backs to come through that we can develop as good FG players. Smith is on more than double Mbye and rightly so. I just want to see Mbye play in a position that suits him and has players around him that compliment his skills before I kick him to the kerb. Maybe with foran he will be good. Maybe as 9 he will be good. Maybe at FB he can be good. Just want to see him play a few games in the one position - other than 7 with Reynolds where it just doesn't work.

Keiran Foran has failed a fitness test ahead of the Warriors' clash with the Raiders on Sunday.

Foran has an ongoing shoulder injury and couldn't pass a fitness test at the side's captain's run on Saturday.

Foran is expected to be fit for next weekend's game against the Rabbitohs.

It's another blow for the Kiwi side, with halfback Shaun Johnson already out for the season. Ata Hingano will replace Foran, lining up alongside Mason Lino in the halves.

While it's bad news for the Warriors, who are no chance of making the finals this year, it should send alarm bells ringing at the Bulldogs.

Foran has signed for Des Hasler's side next year, and alongside Aaron Woods will be charged with turning the Dogs around.

But his 2017 season has been plagued by injury and ill-form. Foran was suspended for the start of this season, but has been dogged by various ongoing ailments.

His time at the Warriors won't be considered a success, with the team posting another baffling season of sub-standard performances.

But with his track record off the field and an inability to get fully fit on it, if Bulldogs are hoping Foran to be the answer to their problems, they might be in for a rude awakening.

Signing Foran feels like buying a used car that isn't that old and should run fine, but has a tonne of kilometres and lots of other problems you will have to fix and deal with later on which cost a fortune to repair.

The only difference is that they paid as much money for Foran as you would several brand new luxury cars.

So essentially, they paid a mint for a beat up 2012 Toyota Corolla which has done 357,000 kms, needs a new gearbox and suspension and has dodgy brakes.

It's scary how much Foran has gone through the motions this season and been a passenger.

His body is letting him down more than ever. Watching him play now is like watching a beaten old boxer keep fighting for one more pay day.

The club re-signed Hasler so he could sign Foran and now we'll sack Hasler and be stuck with Foran who looks like his career is over at the age of 26.

As I write this he just picked up another injury. Wow. We are such a joke.

Just watching him...he is 50% of the player he used to be...Looks so slow, disinterested and looks like getting injured after every tackle.

Signed a dud

We shouldn't allow him to play in the World Cup if he's selected his injuries are a major concern.

They won't ever be sorted, simple as that. He's going to be a dud signing unless something major happens.

Better than our recent halves (which isn't hard) but a long way off the better halves in the game. Hasler will leave a legacy with his crap signings.
