The English clubs were stupid to entertain this, they are at the top of the footballing food chain, they have all the money and popularity. This was a ploy by Madrid, Juve and Barca to get their slice of the pie and they roped in these American owners by flashing dollar signs in front of them.

Apparently all clubs that left have to pay a 300 million euro fine HAHA. Perez is desperate for his money :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy: :tearsofjoy:

Nasheed here,
I can’t see why this is all bad?
Just a European supercomp.
self appointed football super clubs breaking away from the continental governing body, diluting traditional continental competitions and contravening the rules of their own domestic leagues (and risking the viability of said leagues) simply to be guaranteed a place in an exhibition competition and collect billions from an American bank

Tottenham, for example, have not been champions of England in 60 years, have only ever been champions of England twice, have never been champions of Europe etc. but because they are based in London and thus, are more commercially attractive, they are now a European Super club and should have a seat in perpetuity at European football's highest table... give me a f*+#ing break... Ajax Amsterdam, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Benfica, Everton, Nottingham Forest, Aston Villa, FC Porto, Sevilla, PSV, Marseilles etc. all have the right to wipe their a*+#s with the "super-ness" of Tottenham Hotspur

That's true, but you don't need to justify anything to Nashweed. He's still traumatised by the events going on in Breakfast Point, although he enjoys waking up every morning in the paradise known as Granville.
