Flanagan got hooked and the team got worse

So that ruins the narrative that he is the problem

So when are you justifiably criticise Averillo or are you all still riding his dick like he is mandingo
Lol he got hooked mid match when we were getting smashed and was replaced with someone just as shit, the fuck did you think was going to happen? Flanagan is trash.

the real question when it comes to Flanagan is whether he is the solution at halfback?

Jake has had better touches with far more limited touches. He still isn't good enough, but at least he might be in the future. Flanagan sure as shit won't.

They piled on the points when we were down to 12 men.

There's no point trying to play pre determined plays when we don't have them on the back foot.

We struggle to get teams on the back foot, and when we do the trainer calls play off.

If trainer calls stop to play for HIA should be automatic HIA fail.

I hate to say it but if we want the highest chance to win a game Lewis needs to start, if we want to hope Flanagan comes good and build towards to future (Lewis unlikely to be re-signed) we persist with Flanagan at the cost of winning games, this season is a write off and all about building blocks (or getting out of the spoon feeding territory).

He has been bad though.

He has had terrible ball, and the forwards don't lay a good platform BUT he makes horrid decisions and his kicking game is bad, with the good ball we do get.

First tackle on their line, kicks out on the full. Lol the fuck, absolute dumb ****.

Flanagans first game was his best of the season. It showed promise. His kicks were meaningful. But since then it has been a gradual decline.

He dropped a ball cold at one stage today in attack. Absolutely inexcusable and no one was near him (pass to the chest). Then to compile it he kicks about 5 meters too long on the first tackle 10m out. We had so much ball in attack and score 2 tries against the grain (as in with absolutely no threat from our attack).

I might be wrong but he isn’t displaying nrl standards. I haven’t been the one to say drop this guy and that guy. But gosh he has been very average and fades in and out of games.

If tolman was known for his 4th tackle hit ups. Flanno is the guy that runs across field and gets a forward to turn back into a brick wall of defence. Absolutely nothing play that stifles our attack.

his kicking game has been steadily declining too.

You’d almost put him back to reserve grade to get him to rediscover some form. Only problem is we have absolutely no one in reserves ready to step up let alone start at halfback.

The guy who signed him is the biggest problem. Or maybe even the clowns that appointed master coach are even worse.

It was 6-0, so getting smashed doesn’t fit

Avo is a reserve grader, play him at 14 or not at all! Katoa plays better at 13. In saying that we don’t have the cattle to replace any of the underachieving players! We were still in the game until Hoppa was sent.

It's amazing that anyone would come out and defend Flanagan's performances after today.

I wish he could have played the full 80 so he could show his playmaking genius.and vision by kicking it out on the full on 1st tackle by 20 metres a few more times. The team could really use more plays like that..
