I think TPJ is a phenomenal player and will tear up Origin but I wish he chose to play in the test for Tonga so that more of a message was sent and we work towards internationals being the pinnacle, not Origin.
Seeing the support and pride of the Tongan and Samoan fans has been great for the game. The more we grow that and have the best players playing for those countries, the better.
NSW and QLD have plenty of other talent to choose from. Still, I understand he's from Newcastle and I'm a massive fan of his so I'm sure he'll perform well in origin.
