If cowboys win and manly loose we end playing cowboys again in Townsville week 1.
our small ball will be exposed at the business end of the year but I’m hopeful the club will slowly start to bring more powerful players in over the next couple of years.

If cows win and manly loose we will play manly again at Accor, as we will finish 6th and manly 7th.

They may want to avoid Melbourne to draw roosters to be on opposite sides of their draw who knows

The 2023 team would have surrendered in the second half.

The 2024 team held an on song Manly, with DCE playing his best game of the year, to 10 all after a devastating first half.

Manly's defence was relentless, but even so, we were so very close to scoring a number of times. Only desperate ankle taps stopped Xerri from making breaks and sending Fox away. Had Crichton played, and Kiraz been where Skelton was playing, we could have iced the game before half time.

We've made the finals in year one of our rebuild. Pretty bloody good as far as I am concerned.
 
To all those, including myself that were wondering why Skelton hasn’t been getting more game time, and was allowed to walk, maybe that lack of attitude that was shown last night has been picked up by those in the know a lot earlier than what we’ve seen ..

Cows where putrid against the Melbourne Reggie’s side their defence is paper thin and the limited amount of pressure Melbourne put on Clifford had him folding like a deck chair, We shut Deardon down and we should win that game in a Trott IMO.

Agree, but Manly were shit against Tigers also. Id say Cowboys will be up for it.
I think we will atone for previous loss against them, but not expecting a walk in the park.

A lock is supposed to do what a lock does and cover for defence…. Lock it all in and he isn’t that player. Yes he has done some good stuff this year but I do not rate him atall. Since he has come back he has been worse tbh….
 
We beat the Cows this week, Broncs the next week, sharks the next, Chooks the one after and Storm in the Final! Preston gets the Clive Churchill! season done!
 
No matter the results we can’t play Cowboys in week 1 of finals it’s Manly or Broncos

Manly can’t get 5th or 8th

Just have to fix our unforced error rate , way too many stone cold drops and poor ball security last night that didn’t allow us to get in the grind with manly, the cows rely entirely on their attack to win games, as long as we don’t offer cheap possession and we cycle them into the grind like we’ve been doing this year we should roll them.
