I think so. They are a huge market and football is growing very fast over there , they are spending big bucks to bring big name players to their league.
The expanded comp willcertainly make it easier for teams like China to qualify.

I'm all for FIFA expanding the World Cup but NOT like this FFS. If they want to expand it, have another 4 groups. Highest 2 of each group guaranteed to go through (24), plus 8 highest ranked teams who finish 3rd (32), then from there, it's simply elimination football.

This way, more teams have a chance to qualify, more teams make the play offs, and the World Cup goes for a little longer.
