Yep regular licence checks and records are minimum requirements... Pretty embarrassing for a professional organisation to let that slide.

A friend at school was in an accident with a shattered pelvis when she was 12.

She never walked without a terribly exaggerated permanent limp and had to use a walking stick. I pray that poor darling isn't that bad.

Probably but don't forget the top soccer players get paid many millions and we hear very little bad news about them.

A fractured hip may include a shattered pelvis. Perhaps someone on TK with more specialised knowledge can help out here, but a quick search indicates that anything that is characterised as a "fractured hip" will usually involve surgery, it is just a question of what type. It could be a case of plate and screws, or a partial hip replacement, or a full hip replacement. Any of those options is terrible for a young girl to have to experience, and anyone downplaying the reality of her trauma is kidding themselves. She is likely looking at months or even years of treatment, regardless of what form of fracture she has received to her hip.

"Treatment for hip fracture usually involves a combination of prompt surgical repair, rehabilitation, and medication to manage pain and to prevent blood clots and infection."

She doesn't have a shattered pelvis. lol

If it was shattered, she would still be in hospital recovering from an operation. And they would be checking for severe bleeding and organ and/or nerve damage.

I guess it depends on the operating definition of shattered. But you are ignoring my point, if we go with the term "fractured hip", we are talking about a very impacting and serious medical procedure(s). Even the least bad scenario is pretty bad. Which is worse, understating the seriousness or overstating it?
 
If the Broncos sack him.

How many of you would want him at your club. Or would you be hypocrites & welcome him to the club
