Just an interesting side note. The Donkeys PR worker who is apparently responsible for player welfare is a woman by the name of Melissa Mallett. She's the one thats helped a number of Donkeys players handle gambling, alcohol and drug related issues.

Good ole Mel pleaded guilty today in court today. On June 2nd police in Brissy responded to a car accident and arrived on scene to find a woman had smashed into multiple parked cars. She returned 0.156 and at interview was all over the shop and had no recollection of even being there. The time was 9:45pm.

Her driving history is 'unflattering' but apparently no previous drink or drug driving offences. Fined $1000 and 9 month licence suspension. Why only that? Because her employer raved about her and suggested it was unlikely she would reoffend.

You really cannot script this stuff....

If he was a tad more humble, even with reactions on the field, the public would believe he was remorseful for behaving so irresponsibly...I think that's the issue.

However its silly for people to be booing etc whenever he's on camera or touches the ball IMO.

He was giving knees in the play the ball all night too without being called out for it, so that no doubt pissed off a lot of dogs fans.

But the fact of the matter is he's broken the law and got a slap on the wrist, got booed no doubt for showing zero remorse. He's attempted to redirect the sentiment as racism and there's sections of the media who are playing along. I've not really done this before, but I really wish a career ending injury on him.
 
Can't stand him either. Does lots of grubby stuff and must feel entitled to have used his sponsors car in such a way and recklessly gone out and endangered others.

People can boo if they want but dont forget it only adds to the media sob story and the favourable press he gets as they turn the table and focus on the "nasty bigoted" booing crowd.
 
He is a grub and should be put in jail….!!!!!!!


He should’ve been stood down for the season at least….!!!!!!!
