His thought processes are flawed if he thinks that all of this from the fans relates back to the Lenui comments. From memory the reaction was nothing like it is now.It is actually sad that he thinks this way. Could see no difference when the fans were booing Matt Lodge for what he did in terrorising a family…. He is of European descent not indigenous so can’t call that racism. Ezra Mam was booed by fans because of what he did to others whilst he was breaking the law ( and not for the first time) however HE CHOOSES to spin the racist tag , not anyone else. Gee I remember the old days where blokes like Les Boyd were booed simply because of the grubby things he did on field. Unfortunately these days people are enabled by others in claiming racism when they get caught out for their actions. Someone once said to me that if you are in a minority racism is a real thing , if you are in the majority it doesn’t exist. Perhaps that is why it was quite ok to be told by a young male from the minority that I was a “Stupid old white f******* c***” and that I couldn’t have him punished for not only that but for throwing a metal rubbish bin directly at me and for destroying property that belonged to people who worked for the same employer. One thing Ezra did have right though was that people were unhappy with the punishment he received. I like to think that people who are punished for their wrong doings will learn a lesson, unfortunately these days people who receive minimal punishment don’t learn anything, they simply take it as on okay that they can do something else and receive little or no consequences. It would not be surprising if we see further transgressions by this player based on the past and we will no doubt get the same rhetoric and baseless calls of racism. ******See my following post for a list of his previous driving infractions which led to the suspension of his licence which was a matter bought to light after the Uber incident.
